Rescue your wedding dress from the attic and Glam your Dress | Bartlett, TN Photographer

Since I've been exploring this "glam your dress" idea, and I have been in the company of lots of ladies this week, I've asked them, "have you ever worn your wedding dress again after your big day?".  The answers I got ranged from "I had it cleaned and then put it in the closet where it's never left", to "I gave it to my daughter who cut it up and remade it for her own".  Several ladies told me they didn't think it would fit, but one also immediately said "Oooh, my daughter would fit into it though, it would be fun to bring her in to do a session in my dress!".  "YES, it would!" I of course exclaimed, lol.  The lady who let her daughter cut it up is having her 25th wedding anniversary next month. She thought of the idea to get some pieces of it back and have it made into something she could wear for a session with her husband to commemorate the day.  The great thing about photography too is that not everything has to fit perfectly. No one will see what we don't want them to see, so if it doesn't fit perfectly that's okay.  I'm so excited by this though, I love gorgeous gowns and getting to help everyone re-live their big day is so exciting to me!

And as promised, here are some more images from our "Glam the Dress" session.  Thanks again to Crystal at Barlett Florist (http://www.bartlettflorist.com/), she and her team made these two pieces for us.  Using fresh flowers makes it special like your wedding day, we can tie back into the colors you used or create something completely different.  But because they are fresh, it is unique to you, just like your gown.  I hope you like what we've created here!

And thanks to my gorgeous model Sarah Yancey or Ardent Salon.  She is not only beautiful, but very talented in hair and makeup and you'll get to meet her when you book a session since she's part of my team!  Thanks also to Crystal and Melvin Easley of Bartlett Florist and their team of talented floral artists Jayla Flescher and June McKenzie that made the pieces for our shoot. Be sure to visit them for all your floral needs.
